The Buyers’ and Sellers’ Marketplace is hosted by the Minority Business Office and the Colorado State Purchasing and Contracts Office. Public procurement professionals and businesses come together for one day to meet and learn how to do business together. B&M Construction was an exhibitor at the procurement expo, promoting their federal and local government business presence within the state of Colorado.
Improving women’s health and well-being can strengthen any organization and help women have the lives and careers they want. This one of a kind conference is designed for; women in the workplace, HR professionals and employment benefit managers, Chief Learning Officers, health promotion and wellness practitioners, business leaders in the public, private and non-profit sectors. B&M Female employees attended the symposium on June 3rd 2016.
B&M Construction spoke in front of 26 students at Atlas High School in Colorado Springs on April 25th. The construction class consisted of freshman, sophomores and juniors with varying degrees of interest in the construction field. As an ice-breaker activity, students were challenged to build the tallest structure out of spaghetti, marshmallows and tape. Following the challenge, B&M employees conducted an in-depth conversation about career fields within the construction, electrical and furniture industries.
